Professor Love is an AMAZING Cornerstone professor. She is patient, caring, and provides tons of resources for her students. She spends so much time making sure the class is fair for her students, adjusting as she receives feedback, as well as planning and working through the curriculum. Very qualified. Have difficulty programming? Go to FYELIC :)GE1502 2021-04-15 15:27:41 +0000 UTC
Love's organization of the class content and syllabus is simply breathtaking. She puts so much effort into creating assignments and class content. I found myself learning so much just from completing the assignments. In class however her explanations are often confusing, especially for coding. Tip: teach yourself C++ before she teaches to you.GE1501 2021-02-04 13:56:35 +0000 UTC
Very nice Prof. Always ready to help. Rarely any tests. Final and midterm were perfect.GE1110 2016-01-13 16:55:50 +0000 UTC
Prof. Love is one the most helpful professors I've had at Northeastern.ME2355 2015-03-17 22:14:11 +0000 UTC
Jennifer Love is an easy grader, but sends a lot of homework which are not very clear.GE1000 2015-02-28 16:40:20 +0000 UTC
Straightforward & caring with grading & open to criticism, which is something that I respect her for a lot. As long as assignments completed dutifully, you will get an A. Learned a lot, but could have gone more in-depth with coding and CAD. The Sparkfun group project was pretty babied/over-scrutinized and was more annoying than cool or useful IMOGE1502 2018-05-02 02:11:14 +0000 UTC
Professor Love is such a sweet person. The way she taught this class with enthusiasm really made this class enjoyable even during times where the amount of work got overwhelming. She sometimes spends too much time on simpler assignments and doesn't give us enough time to spend on more challenging assignmentsGE1501 2017-11-29 23:30:41 +0000 UTC
Professor Love is a very warm and caring professor, who gives great feedback and really wants to help every student succeed. She's always around if you need her, and if you're doing the semester long AEV project, you definitely will.GE1110 2015-12-17 15:48:09 +0000 UTC
Cornerstone with Professor Love was one of the easiest classes I've ever taken. That being said, it was also one of the worst. She got next to nothing done in her lectures. Honestly you just skip class and just learn from her slideshows on Blackboard. She takes attendance though so you can't. She can't teach coding at all either.GE1502 2018-04-16 12:55:03 +0000 UTC
If you don't know programming already, DONT take cornerstone engineering with her! She doesn't know a lot about programming, and is really bad at teaching it. When you seek help from her, instead of debugging, she will just suggest you to use a different desktop. I had to learn most of the C++ stuffs from my CS major friend.GE1501 2017-11-01 11:55:11 +0000 UTC
Assignments are long but easy and she is a very easy grader. Expect lots of homework and lots of time spent in a semester-long group project. The class itself is incredibly boring but she is a very nice professor who is passionate about engineering and makes an effort to get to know each student. Tests are east and there is lots of extra credit.GE1110 2015-12-16 15:26:37 +0000 UTC
She's pretty much qualified to be a 3rd grade teacher. At least she teaches this class like one.GE1502 2018-03-28 15:11:39 +0000 UTC
Professor Love is a very nice lady, however most of her assignments feel like busy work. Lots of homework, but still one of the easiest Cornerstone classes available. For some reason she has an issue with kids using prior knowledge in coding to do their work, most likely because hers is limited. Just show up and do all the assignments for an easy AGE1501 2017-03-22 11:09:26 +0000 UTC
Professor Love had really cool projects, especially towards the end of the year. If you want to use a 3D printer frequently, she's the professor to take.GE1110 2014-12-23 11:49:35 +0000 UTC
Lots of opportunities for easy extra credit. Almost every grade is a group project and most of the assignments are just busy work - very little is actually useful knowledge for an engineering degree. Incredibly boring class, but a very very easy A.GE1501 2016-12-27 15:28:42 +0000 UTC
