I took BIOL3405 as an online class and severely regret it. While kind and understanding, Ingemi's online slides are a NIGHTMARE and littered with mistakes if you're paying attention to the material. She'll say one thing and then contradict herself in the next 30 seconds. There are even mistakes on the online exams. I hope she is better in person.BIOL3405 2017-07-19 18:31:39 +0000 UTC
Dr. Pirri is a great lecturer! Her slides are clear and the material is fascinating. There are only 3 exams (32% each) but if you're willing to study even just an hour a day for the few days preceding a test you will do well. She records and posts her lectures online which is INCREDIBLY helpful. Definitely feel prepared for higher level courses.PSYCH3458 2016-05-02 02:30:38 +0000 UTC
Professor Pirri is a good lecturer, but she sometimes rushes over more complicated concepts and doesn't provide many supplementary materials to learn on your own. There's no homework, so you don't know what you don't know until she tests you on it. If you do have a specific question, though, she's very helpful and clear.PSYC3458 2016-04-29 03:18:58 +0000 UTC
Pirri is great. She has sense of humor and is friendly. Her lectures are organized and detailed, and she puts slides and study guides online. If you skip class the slides won't make much sense. She provides an old edition of the textbook as a free download; TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS. The text is an amazing resource. Office hours are useful. Recommend.BIOL3405 2015-12-03 11:19:36 +0000 UTC
Dr. Pirri is very organized and helpful at office hours. She creates her own slides, and there's no required textbook. The worst part of the class is the tests, which despite hours and hours of studying, are impossible. Only take a class with her if you don't have other difficult courses. Even though it's just a prereq, it requires a lot of work.PSYC3458 2015-11-20 16:16:36 +0000 UTC
