She is genuinely so kind and gets to know each student. Her lectures are really interesting and I loved them. However... the exams were honestly really difficult like I would study for days and still not do great. My advice is just attend every class and take notes but the material is worth learning and projects help with your grade too.PSYC3404 2026-01-06 21:18:03 +0000 UTC
Teacher is very approachable and always available during office hours, but not a class for an easy A. There are 3 tests that are 60% of the grade so if you do bad on 1 test it is almost impossible to still get an A. Also there are weekly quizzes, so once the semester starts to get busy it is hard to keep up every week.PSYC1101 2023-05-06 02:59:26 +0000 UTC
she's nice and lectures are good, she includes videos and examples to help our learning. it's definitely not an easy A, tests are challenging and u need to study. she does love when people participate and lowkey likes those ppl more, so idk if i would take her again lolPSYC3404 2025-12-11 03:06:54 +0000 UTC
Her lectures are great, and she's a great person but the class is quite difficult. Do not take this class if you want an easy A. 3 exams are worth 60% of your grade and quizzes are 20%. Wouldn't recommend unless you're good with tests.PSYC1101 2023-04-27 17:18:33 +0000 UTC
Professor Weaver is well respected for good reason! She condenses so much important information into a semester that I am sure I will recall for the rest of my life. If you review your textbook+class notes to fill in the study guides for her exams then you will do well. Macmillian practice questions are very helpful! Just show up, listen, engage!PSYC3404 2025-01-06 00:35:22 +0000 UTC
Lowkey chill teacher, but don't take her under any circumstances if you are looking for an easy A bc u want to rizz up.PSYC1101 2023-04-23 20:33:53 +0000 UTC
Super nice. Super average. My AP psych course in high school was exacly the same.PSYC3404 2024-12-12 06:57:54 +0000 UTC
She was very nice and I think she tried her best to make the material interesting, primarily when she covered things like development which she seemed passionate about, but most of the semester I wasn't very motivated to come to class due to the course structure and testing. I thought it was a bore for the most part.PSYC1101 2023-04-01 00:44:52 +0000 UTC
love dr. weaver. she doesn't just lecture; she shows videos, provides examples, facilitates class discussions, and brought in toys one day. exams can be tricky, but study and talk to her in office hours and she's very understanding. gives extra credit too. fits are fire every time. answers emails quickly. would def take again.PSYC3404 2024-11-01 13:25:52 +0000 UTC
Professor Weaver is a great teacher and truly cares about her students. Her lectures were always super engaging with great examples and class activities to make sure that we understood the information. She also does a great job answering questions from students. Her quizzes are all open-note and for exams, it's very important to read the textbook.PSYC1101 2022-01-09 20:32:39 +0000 UTC
i love dr. weaver - she was my favorite professor this year. I enjoyed going to her class and it went by so quick. she is so funny as well and has great style. She really engages the class but doesn't force it. best prof ever at NUPSYC3404 2023-12-15 17:36:52 +0000 UTC
I loved this professor's class, she shows up every day ready to teach and is always trying to engage her students in the material. I feel confident that I learned a lot from this class while also enjoying learning (she made the class entertaining). I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for an inspirational professor.PSYC1101 2021-12-07 20:32:12 +0000 UTC
Had her for summer 1. Great professor, and easy to understand lectures. Diverse assignments and educated on inclusive psychology. Had quizzes every week, no final. Assigned readings were very interesting and thought-provoking and accompanied the class discussions nicely. Content of the course really makes you think of how short our lifespan is.PSYC3404 2023-06-21 22:12:28 +0000 UTC
Even though the class is lecture heavy, I always looked forward to going. The lectures are engaging and she moves at a good pace for note-taking. She also gives a lot of examples of concepts we learn, and is open to hear from students and answer questions. Her lectures were always engaging, I genuinely think there's a lot to learn in this class.PSYC3404 2022-04-27 19:21:09 +0000 UTC
