Great professor! Her class was very interesting and she made online lectures interesting. Exams can be difficult, but most of the grade is participation. I really enjoyed her lessons and writings on the Annoying Orange YouTube channel.CMN302 2021-03-28 04:04:34 +0000 UTC
Professor Morreale was awful. Her exams were very difficult. She never prepared you for the exams. Class performed very poorly on exams. Wouldn't curve exams. Made the class more difficult then it should have been. My GPA suffered.CMNU321 2019-01-20 05:31:54 +0000 UTC
Overall, she is very nice and approchable outside of class if you ever need it. There's always reading that is sometimes relevant and sometimes not. She uploads her powerpoints and readings, but the structure and overall points are sometimes unclear. She is a pretty hard grader on the papers and sometimes the MC's are tricky.MSCR2302 2017-08-08 11:57:01 +0000 UTC

Really enjoyed this class. Learned a lot. Read a lot. Talked about a lot in class. Also learned new things about television. And not just your favorite dramas. Also quiz show scandals and the changing face of political representation. No textbook, but lots of articles to read.MSCR4208 2016-04-24 12:19:19 +0000 UTC
Take this class television text and context class if you have a serious interest in the content matter. She knows what she's talking about, raises extremely engaging questions and thoroughly explores each topic. If you go to class, and not only listen, but engage, you will benefit and succeed.TV242 2011-04-22 01:41:43 +0000 UTC
she's a little eccentric & loopy & can be really funny, sometimes not on purpose. because of this you are prone to slack, but she's not a super easy grader. the papers and tests aren't difficult, but you need to put some effort in. don't let her demeanor give you the wrong impression. the class was really interesting & she was enthusiastic.ADPROMO 2006-08-09 16:29:43 +0000 UTC
Arrghhh...She is such a wierdo...Class was about 2 hours, and she never let us out early, to top it off even afer we took the final exam we had to stay. Extremely hard Grader..Her brain is scattered..and she laughs alot at nothing.TVTEXTCONTE 2006-01-02 21:02:02 +0000 UTC
Moreale is slightly timid, which makes her hard to understand and in addition she finds herself extremely funny, so her points can be muffled by her chuckles. Overall a good class, you just have to do the work (especially on papers) becuase she is a hard grader.PERSUASION 2005-01-05 15:43:54 +0000 UTC

She definitely plays favorites and capitalizes on certain topics too much. If you don't agree she can be harsh.TVTEXT 2003-11-17 21:08:32 +0000 UTC

She is a little out there, but overall an interesting professor. She is a really tough grader but if you do the assignments the way she requests then you'll be fine. STUDY for the exams.CMN302 2006-03-30 16:02:15 +0000 UTC

Joanne is one of the kindest professors I have had. Her power points are interesting and helpful in learning the information. I genuinely like her as a person, which makes her interesting to talk to outside of the classroom. She is very knowledgeable about the topic and loves to laugh and joke around.MSCR2302 2016-11-16 01:14:50 +0000 UTC
