Genuinely the most interesting lecturer ever, had weekly multi-choice exams that were easy (got Bs didn't study) about that week's class content. Dr. Adams is by far the best professor I have ever had. He is not only a hilarious dude, but you can tell he cares about his students' success. He is very receptive and always willing to help with whatever, whenever. You can tell he is passionate about teaching, and I cannot recommend him enough! I loved his class. The topics were interesting, and he showed passion for what he teaches. The only thing I didn't like about his class was that he would cold call people by putting their names on a spreadsheet and randomly call on someone. Adams is a great professor and person. He was very lenient with grading and understanding, he let me turn in a few assignments late after having some personal things happen. He was very flexible with points and extra credit in general and was a funny guy to talk to. Social psychology with Dr. Adams was hands down the best class I have taken at Northeastern. He is super understanding about late assignments as long as they are not regular and you show effort in class. If you're taking PSYC1101, take it with Dr. Adams. Even with an 8am, I made it to almost every class. Attendance is basically a free 30% of your grade and exams are easy if you attend class. Professor Adams was very good and helpful. Attendance is mandatory but for most classes you end up leaving early anyways. He cares about his students and understands that Statistics is a somewhat boring class and he tries to make it fun. If you're taking considering taking Dr. Adams, you totally should! Although attendance is mandatory, it is literally impossible not to get an A in this class since it is worth 30% of your grade. If you can't handle his mildly inappropriate jokes that he makes because we are all ADULTS... go back to middle school. His sense of humour and ability to connect to us makes this class so much easier to understand and way more bearable. Genuinely a great professor. News flash: lectures are not supposed to be for your entertainment. They are supposed to be informational and might be boring sometimes, but Dr. Adams does his best to include fun demonstrations and stories to help students understand the topics better.
