I don't know why the course code isn't selectable, but I took ARTF 1220 with Jose. He's very energetic and very excitable and engaging about his work. Especially typography. Jose is one of the best professors I've had at Northeastern. His class allows you to explore your interests and gives you the design tools to showcase them. He gives great feedback and sets you up for success.
