Dr B is the goat. Being a 2nd year who just switched to engineering, this course helped balance my schedule, and although it is a lot of work, it's not hard, and most of the skills/assignments are very practical and useful. I'm actually so heartbroken that Dr. B doesn't teach for anything other than cornerstone. Easily the best professor I've had at NU and the absence of any rating lower than 5 really speaks volumes. Batrouny's class was my favorite in my first semester. The class is all fun engineering projects or coding. Most things are self-guided, so you are able to go at your own pace, but she also is readily available to help whenever you need it. She's super sweet, her classes are fun and never boring. The group projects we do are fun and her lectures are easy to understand. Honestly, Dr. Batrouny is the best professor ever. She is very kind and caring and passionate in what she teaches. She also makes this class very interactive and fun and its a super chill class in general as long as you do everything you are supposed to. Dr Batrouny is a goated teacher, if you get her, consider yourself lucky, best Cornerstone teacher ever, her homework is not that hard and here is no Test. This course is rated a medium difficulty. She does a great job at guiding the class throughout lessons by making them engaging, as well as interesting. She also provides a lot of extra credit opportunities which makes GE1502 less stressful. Anyone who has Dr. B for Cornerstone is blessed. She is the best teacher to have for your first year of college. She grades extremely fairly, offers many opportunities for extra credit, and is overall just so kind and fun. Hands down the best professor you could have for cornerstone and probably among the best at Northeastern. She is kind, caring, understanding, passionate, and gives loads of opportunities to get a good grade. Only downside is that her TA is evil and grades homework like she hates you personally.
