I know everyone has different experiences, but I got all A's and showed up the entire semester (and provided constant feedback & participation)... and she gave me a B+. She is the epitome of German, and even made a joke about it herself. She's funny, but definitely STRICT. She claims to hate favoritism, but only calls on her favorites. I did not have a good experience with this professor at all. Her accent was difficult to understand. On top of that, she seemed very condescending to everyone who disagreed with her viewpoints. She would belittle students in class for their opinions. Very unprofessional.SOCSOC 2011-09-29 21:31:41 +0000 UTC
Professor Zippel's class is very fair difficulty-wise (you'll do great if you care and participate, not so great if you sleep through class). She has a tiny bit of trouble with English, but not enough to significantly hurt her teaching ability. Her office hours are incredibly helpful, and she'll love you if you show that you care about the class.SOCL1260 2014-11-15 03:00:53 +0000 UTC
