While Kledia is a nice person, it did not feel at all as if she taught the class. Very minimal effort was put on her end to actually teach or communicate, making me think she almost didn't even think about the course beyond class time. Grades were never put in or discussed, so beyond feedback during classes themselves we had no idea where we stand.ARTF2220 2025-04-20 17:20:47 +0000 UTC
I don't think Kledia is best suited for the introductory experience design course she teaches. With a young teacher complex, she focuses on aspects of teaching that don't necessarily foster curiosity and enthusiasm in students. Sweet person, but not an effective teacher. Lectures are tedious and assigned work is geared for time intensive effort.ARTF2223 2024-11-21 04:39:35 +0000 UTC
ARTF1240:nice person, does not teach you how to do anything, just gives assignments and expects you to know how to work with Adobe/learn it (huge learning curve). You never work in class, the only thing you do is watch example videos and sit awkwardly, leave early. Hasn't put any grades in the entire semester. slightly judgemental, prefers abstractARTF2220 2024-12-05 20:11:44 +0000 UTC
Really unhelpful and confusing. Don't take interactive experiences with her. Most disorganized Canvas I've ever seen.ARTF2220 2024-11-13 22:50:34 +0000 UTC
Kledia's classes are not necessarily easy, but you get what you put into them. Almost each class is a critique-but art is best learned through critique. Showing work each class motivates students to do their best, as well as see what their classmates come up with. I do think that the screening/reading assignments each week are a bit tediousARTF2220 2024-01-04 01:52:54 +0000 UTC
If I could put 0 I would. Every 3-hour class is 2 hours of "critiquing" which is never useful, anxiety-inducing, & frankly a waste of time. She has screenings that are barely related to our projects, & discussions are like pulling out teeth. Heavy workload + vague HW instructions, & I've taught everything to myself so far (more than I normally do).ARTF2220 2023-10-16 19:48:06 +0000 UTC
Won't go easy on you but her high standards are because she knows you're capable of meeting them. Will critique your work in class but still check in with you if you're having a bad day. I will admit the standards sometimes feel unfair, especially if the entire class drops the ball. Regardless though, if you work with her she'll work with you.ARTF2220 2023-09-12 21:02:00 +0000 UTC
Do not take her class, the first day of class she literally gave a lecture about how she's "not that tough" because her grad professor would make students cry during critique...She makes us present our homework every single class/critique and it gives me so much anxiety. On top of that, she gives little to no explanation for our homework prompts.ARTF2220 2023-02-14 07:52:09 +0000 UTC
