When you think about the big picture, through introspective lens, there is great meaning that can be theoretically found in this class that deals with hypotheticals and intersectionality through identity politics. Kumi is entertaining and relaxed, and knows her stuff. Class is almost entirely discussion based, and we had two exams, two papers, and one semester long group paper and presentation. Shes not that great of a professor, confusing and a hard grader HIGH EXPECTATIONS esp for an intro class.She's not very clear and changes her directions several times. Shes ok. Her personality is pretty cool for a professor, and she is pretty helpful, but not always clear in what she expects from you. Kummi is an awesome teacher. She has so much knowledge to share and this crazy enthusiasm about teaching that makes you want to learn. She is the sweetest professor who doesn't grade to see you fail, but she grades to push to the ends of your ability. She has so much faith in her students and she's hilarious. Professor Silva is a very nice, very clear professor. However, while teaching, it seems like she wants to make everything a gigantic deal. "Isn't this scary?" she says. Or, "isn't that distuuuurbing?".
