Great Professor! Sometimes unavailable to help in person, but always available to help via email.PSYCH3451 2011-10-31 17:35:12 +0000 UTC
Great professor. Recommend to all students. She is so caring and wants to help all her students succeed. She gives about 5-6 tests per semester and drops the lowest score. TAKE HER CLASS!PSYC3450 2011-03-23 18:45:52 +0000 UTC
I really enjoyed Lisa's class. She knows what she's talking about. All you need to do is go to class, participate and you'll get an A.PSY358 2009-09-10 18:21:21 +0000 UTC
She is a very nice lady. She likes to try and relate the topics to what you are working on in a job for psych. her quizes are easy if you dont read too deep into them. She posts power points when she feels we flew through. Posts a quiz like thing that helps also to study. Must go to class to understand if u do reading isnt necessary.PSYC450 2009-04-02 14:23:34 +0000 UTC
took Behavior Modification course from her. she is NEVER clear and she is not very nice and it is very hard to approach her. her quizes are very confusing. i would NOT take courses with her.PSY400 2008-12-20 00:40:43 +0000 UTC
Professor Gurdin is a great professor, she is passionate about what she teaches and therefore explains the information very well. You gotta go to class because she doesn't post the lectures.PSYCH358 2008-12-19 00:25:25 +0000 UTC
Best Professor! She loves what she is doing and has lots of experience. She is not a hard grader and really wants everyone to do well. I would recommend her classes!PSYU654 2008-10-28 14:10:13 +0000 UTC
She's one of the worst professors I've ever had, hands down! She is unclear and not very nice or approachable. Her questions on the 5 quizzes which are 60% of your grade are VERY confusing! you can not get in touch with her either! she gives her cell# but that's weird, she doesn't answer e-mails ever! Avoid her classes!PSYU358 2008-01-02 23:24:22 +0000 UTC
Class is boring and confusing and tests are unclear. Over half our class would go up to her during a test and ask her to clarify something. I guess she didn't like this b/c she deciced on the 3rd test that no one was allowed to ask any questions. Can you believe that?!?! Terrible teacher, avoid her classes.PSYU450 2007-08-17 16:04:51 +0000 UTC
She treats her class like an elementary class. When you take a test you can't leave the class afterwards, however she says nothing about people talking and she brought her kid to run around during a test. She makes no sense and usually forgets her point. If you disagree with her she will ignore you.PSYCH450 2007-06-28 17:07:06 +0000 UTC
Class involves a lot of reading, but the work is pretty easy and she is extremely easy to work with. Plus the class only meets once a week for 3 hours so you only have to do work for it once a week.PSY654 2007-03-13 20:57:28 +0000 UTC
Everything about the class is completely jumbled. No on ever knows what is due when and she doesn't explain anything very well. But she's really helpful if you go to her with a question and always very nice.BEHAVIORTHERAP 2005-10-21 14:42:04 +0000 UTC
prepare to be completely confused about everything except the "intro to psych" style vocab that youll be forced to study off of index cards. terrible, simply terrible.ABABASICALLY 2005-09-22 09:06:46 +0000 UTC
I thought that she was an interesting instructor. She knew her stuff and was one of the most passionate professors that I've had. She was actively seeking to get her students involved in the material. Overall, she graded fairly and she had an interesting personality. The material was a little scattered though.PSY358 2008-09-06 16:06:22 +0000 UTC
Most class time is spent figuring out what topic we are actually on. SHE'S OUT OF HER SKULL.BEHAVIORTHERAP 2005-10-11 11:39:43 +0000 UTC
