Funny and kind prof, but a stickler when it comes to attendance and being on time, so be aware. Lectures are decent, and responds quickly to emails for help.CRIM3600 2025-11-20 22:10:44 +0000 UTC
Professor Alemu restored my faith in professors. His lectures are interesting he turned what I assumed would be a boring course about classical sociologists into one of my favorite classes that I have taken at Northeastern. Be prepared for a lot of reading and discussion, but also be prepared to leave with a new outlook on life.SOCL3300 2024-12-03 20:34:40 +0000 UTC
Prof Alemu was really great and made a research course not intimidating at all. It's essential to take notes in class b/c there are a couple of quizzes throughout the semester that cover the content, but aren't too difficult. Other assignments are memos leading up to the final creation of a research project of your choice. 10/10 recommendCRIM3600 2025-05-09 07:16:28 +0000 UTC
