Meryl is very nice but the course is a bit much. You have to do 10 reflections and one final paper, no tests but the topics were sooooo specific which made it hard to get a good grade even if you are a good writer. Classes consist of the prof presenting a brief slide deck with small discussions. All topics were very interesting, and her teaching style is engaging. After every class, there's a 400-500 word reflection you can do on Canvas (choose 10 for the sem). She's def a tough grader with these. The class is designed around a lengthy end of year paper that would contribute to the majority of your grade. On a daily basis, Meryl assigns a hefty amount of reading and will randomly grade a group of students' online entries each day on blackboard.
