Meanest and most unpleasant teacher I've had in my life. If you get a question wrong, or even ask a question she will belittle and insult you in front of your entire class. Her lectures are incredibly disorganized, and she jumps through slides and topics quickly, and seemingly at random. I truly got nothing out of this class but unhappiness.EECE2322 2022-09-20 23:36:21 +0000 UTC
Prof Leeser is very knowledgeable about her field but I think she could really improve in her dialogue with students. I asked her a few questions after class and she told me that I was "slow" and not committed to the class. She gave my group glowing feedback on the parts leading up to the final presentation and then a low grade on the final itself.EECE7352 2020-10-31 21:12:47 +0000 UTC
Great Professor. I loved the class. This is exactly what an engineering class should be like, Hands On, learn by doing it. The lectures were short and informative, giving us the baseline knowledge we needed to continue our hands on learning.EECE4638 2020-04-24 13:50:56 +0000 UTC
Pretty good class. Same as DLD calculator lab except using programming language instead of schematics. She's very helpful and cancelled about 5 or 6 classes. Teaches from slideshow, but the 100 minute class can get boring. Open notes/books for midterm and 2 quizzes. Final was replaced by a project since there were only 7 people in the class.VHDL 2005-12-24 14:58:10 +0000 UTC
Boring lecture. Fell asleep alot and didn't pay attention when i was awake. Went to the other lecture a few times. She tries though so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. The subject isnt that hard if you can put in the time yourself. Best teacher award? No. But best afro maybe.DLD 2005-01-30 23:59:32 +0000 UTC
She's the worst professor I ever had. Only does power point presentations, and jumps around from one topic to the other. Very strict grading and does not use curve in grading. Unless you are extremely good with the material, you will end up with a B-ECEG361 2004-04-16 14:32:42 +0000 UTC
Smart chick that looks like a chicken and has an afro, i swear! Actually speaks english unlike most profs in the ECE dept. Easy to understand, very helpful with those that don't understand anything, does her job well. I think she literally has OCD though.ECEU322 2004-03-16 11:19:17 +0000 UTC
Absent frequently. Had a grad student fill in who was unfamiliar with the class. Many in the class thought she was condescending, would often laugh at questions the class had. Available for office hours, but did not write the homework. Very knowledgeable on the subject, just had trouble understanding that the students were struggling.EECE2322 2019-12-12 14:26:05 +0000 UTC
I took the architecture class. Had no experiences in h/w stuffs, so at the beginning the class was pretty difficult, but I learned a lot of things! She covers a big range of topics, so if you want to learn, do take the class! The HW were not too difficult if you are willing to spend a fair amount of time. She asks Qs from what she covered in class.EECE7352 2013-01-17 12:53:49 +0000 UTC
Took Advanced Digital Logic Design with Professor Leeser. Professor provided PYNQ Z2 boards for all students in the class, interesting lectures and very lab heavy which I personally enjoyed. Took a very "learn by doing approach" and was prompt in responding to emails and providing assistance when COVID-19 moved the class online. Would recommendEECE4638 2020-04-23 21:56:04 +0000 UTC
Very helpful teacher. She cares about her students and wants them all to do well. If you come to class, you'll learn the material. She grades very fairly. I would definitely recommend taking a class with her.EECE2322 2013-12-13 09:17:22 +0000 UTC
Good professor. The pace of the class is fair and manageable. She goes over practice material in a rotation around the classroom, if you don't know the answer when it's your turn, you can pass, more often than not, she will explain how to do that problem. Notes are given with fill-in-the-blanks, as long as you show up, you'll learn the material.EECE2322 2013-12-13 00:15:16 +0000 UTC
If you go to class, you will learn the material pretty easily. Class participation forces you to learn everything. She is willing to go over material multiple times until everyone gets it. Overall a fair grader who seems to know the material pretty well. Would recommend.EECE2322 2013-12-12 23:58:57 +0000 UTC
Her personality is very unbearable. Her teaching is OK to me but I don't think anybody can be conncetd to her. So unfriendly person!EECE2322 2012-12-07 21:25:13 +0000 UTC
