Miriam is a solid professor. Her Gender and Film class is fun and she provides you with great movies to watch and discuss in class. She also gives you freedom to cover which movies/topics that interest you most. Sometimes the lectures can get a bit boring but the movie she picks to discuss topics makes up for it. Prof Tola's lectures are boring and she says "um" and "uh" more than she provides actual information. Her instructions for projects are vague and her grades seem to come out of nowhere. Lectures are extremely boring although topics are usually interesting. Her descriptions of projects are unclear but grading is generally fair. Never gives enough time/notice for projects that take a long time. No tests, only projects and many are group projects.
