Prof. Fard is all but a legend. He is the perfect example of NEU selecting teachers for their background rather than for their teaching abilities. He never gives curves and even if he tries to clarify a topic (which he usually doesn't given that he couldn't care less about his students) he usually only makes it more confusing. The Man, the Myth, the Legend, Nassar Fard is a wonderful teacher with a clever sense of humor and an unmistakeable fervor for life. I had Prof. Fard for Prob and Stats 1 and 2, and Quality. With 75 stud. to teach in P&S 1,he gave us eval.forms wkly.1 student said they couldn't hear him & he actually brought a microphone to teach. He is not a fair professor. During the final, he allowed some students to open their textbooks when others didn't even bring a book. Those students check the "theorem" but actually were checking the similar exercises as the exam questions stated. Then I got an A and those students got an A.
