Avoid this professor if you can. Worst instructor I've had. Mandatory attendance for lectures that add little to your understanding. Everything is explained better and faster online. This is the only class where showing up felt like wasted time. Choose another section if possible.EECE2310 2026-02-10 19:54:57 +0000 UTC
Class was moved online last-minute at least 8 times over the course of the semester, and prof showed up 20+ minutes late to many many others... on top of that, making the students' attendance mandatory halfway through the semester was very ironic. Was an easy A tho (didn't learn anything).EECE2540 2026-01-07 20:36:27 +0000 UTC
Do not take this professor, if you need this class take the other professor. He has no respect for your time as a student, every day he is late by 10 mins. He just rips the lecture slides off the other professor and while teaching them it's like the first time he's ever seen them. You can get more information by just skimming the textbooks.EECE2310 2025-08-31 19:05:32 +0000 UTC
Good LectureEECE2310 2025-08-15 23:20:29 +0000 UTC
professor is not great. super boring lectures with mandatory attendance. often makes mistakes writing homework and test questions. on midterm, received an impossible question that took time away from other questions. can see he tries to teach, but fails. he doesn't convey points well, makes things more confusing than just reviewing the slides.EECE2310 2025-08-05 15:10:54 +0000 UTC
Horrible organization, does not answer emails, reads directly from the slides, does not explain concepts clearly. Lectures are not helpful so you have to teach yourself. Don't torture yourself by taking this professor. Only upside is the homeworks are not that bad and lab reports were graded somewhat leniently which I guess depends on your TAs.EECE2310 2025-06-22 18:04:57 +0000 UTC
Classes were pretty bad, the professor teaches but its the same as reading the slides and watching videos during your own time. There was attendance at the end of every class so you couldn't skip. Homework and test question difficulties were okay but graded leniently.EECE2310 2025-04-30 16:28:12 +0000 UTC
Incredibly boring lectures that take an hour to cover what you can learn yourself by spending 10 minutes reading the class notes provided by a different teacher. For the actual rigor, the course itself is really easy, but the labs lowkey take a lot longer b/c the TAs aren't all that helpful and the lab report is tedious to write.EECE2310 2025-04-17 07:25:19 +0000 UTC
Naveen is Northeastern's dark knight. He gives only 4 homeworks which is lesser than what Kimani gives. If you do good on both midterms, you don't need to give the final as the score is dropped. He gives a practice exam which is same as the actual exam. He is not a good teacher but makes the course low effort.EECE2310 2025-04-01 22:36:56 +0000 UTC
Do not take this professor. He does not answer questions very well. He does not respond to piazza. Every class goes for five minutes longer. There is no organisation.EECE2310 2025-02-23 09:13:12 +0000 UTC
This is the most poorly organized class I've taken at Northeastern. Professor does not respond to emails and piazza questions, cannot manage time in class, explains concepts poorly and very slowly, and does not release important study resources for exams. DO NOT take this class with this professor.EECE2310 2025-02-20 01:06:10 +0000 UTC
Rarely responds to emails or questions on Piazza. Content is exciting but lectures tend to be boring and he is not great at answering questions or explaining concepts in class.EECE2310 2025-02-19 16:47:33 +0000 UTC
Constantly late to class, would end class over 5 minutes late regularly. He moved so slowly on material(despite the fact no one was asking questions) that we ended up weeks behind the other professor, and he'd hold online classes at 7pm to make up for it. He also held online classes to "make up for" the holidays. Test guidelines constantly changed.EECE2310 2024-11-23 14:16:38 +0000 UTC
These were some of the worst lectures I have ever sit through. Prof. Sapavath belabors simple arithmetic and glazes over the interesting content of the course. A 20 minute YouTube video teaches me more than his 70 minute lectures. He also frequently arrives to class 10+ minutes late and will make mistakes on simple math.EECE2310 2024-11-18 01:48:25 +0000 UTC
