Class is alright as a filler class but this teacher takes it kinda seriously. There's a lot of reading involved on Perusall which takes forever but no HW assignment is technically due till end of sem so it's chill if you miss a deadline for readings. She was my favorite professor ever! I took music film with her, it was the easiest and most entertaining class ever. SO much extra credit and all homework is either super easy or group projects. easy a class. she let us watch movie clips every class and point people out for questions. class can be boring sometimes because of the no device policy. she seems to be serious with the attendance but then she also gave a lot of extra credits to make up the absence. no quiz, homework or test.MUSC1113 2025-04-28 06:05:39 +0000 UTC
Professor Jones is passionate about film music and generous with extra credit, but the course was more difficult than it needed to be. It included both a final project and final exam, plus she didn't post lecture slides. Professor Jones is a very caring, intelligent person. She is very passionate about what she does. This makes the class very enjoyable however very strict on attendance. However, I do believe she took her class a bit too seriously as it is an elective course.
