Professor Hashmi is a very dedicated and passionate professor! There are many opportunities for extra credit which involve slight content expansion from lectures (you have the entire semester to complete). Three midterms and a final. Generally easy tests. Homework is sometimes difficult but always slightly harder than exams, so its a good confidence boost. Professor Hashmi is a very intelligent and nice person. Her notes and lectures are easy to understand for the most part and she is very organized. Prof. Hashmi teaches in a really conceptual way, so if you learn well by doing practice problems, she may not be the best option for you. Her notes are really organized, but she spends most of class time focused on equation derivations.
