The class are very abstract and hard to understand, and you are not allowed to use electronic devices to take notes.The in-class activity is very difficult, and there are 5 minute papers that appear out of nowhere. Almost every class has a surprise five-minute paper that counts toward your participation. There are different reading every week and lots of inclass activities. Had her for Capstone and consistently got disrespectful feedback. She doesn't allow students to take notes on any tech during class. The course was poorly planned, roughly 80% of class time was spent on student presentations. You're not allowed to miss presentation days regardless of Wellness Days. She is very knowledgeable and you can tell she likes what she does. The class is very content heavy and often extremely difficult to understand. Attendance is mandatory and can move you down a letter grade so be careful.
