The professor is nice, the class is pretty easy, but it's basically only for fun as you get to watch shows and write 3-4 page papers on the shows that you like. As a Media major, I didn't really learn anything new in this class though.MSCR1300 2015-04-17 23:59:17 +0000 UTC
Media and Identity with Sarah was really awesome. There are some interesting media texts and the class conversation is extremely stimulating. I would recommend this class and definitely take again.MSCR3437 2014-11-18 12:52:58 +0000 UTC
Clear on what she was asking for. Mostly easy assignments. Lots of free range in assignment choice and class discussions. Take notes and participate. Turn in your assignments on time. See her before or after class for guidance on assignments. Very helpful. Very nice. Very thought-provoking discussions and material. Do the readings.MSCR1220 2014-10-06 18:17:15 +0000 UTC

Great professor. 4 non-cumulative tests, no finals, 2 short papers, ATTEND CLASS. Never read book, but we often use it in class. Take good notes in class & attend exam reviews b/c tests are based on them. She is willing to hear your reasoning behind test answers and give you points even if you get it wrong! Very understanding prof. Take her class!COM1101 2010-03-31 16:15:28 +0000 UTC
PUBLIC SPEAKING is an incredible class with Sarah Sinwell. Everyday you answer a question of the day which gets you comfortable with your classmates and it has helped us all form some of the strongest friendships and bonds. Very easy class as long as you write your outline and practice your speech you will get an A. SO MUCH FUN! Highly recommended.COMM1112 2009-12-03 15:36:19 +0000 UTC
I really enjoyed Professor Sinwell's class. She tries really hard to relate the lecture information to clips from movies and shows. 4 exams and a paper, no final! She's really nice and helpful during her office hours too. Definitely take her section for 101 if you can!CMNU101 2009-08-13 23:15:52 +0000 UTC
Sinwell is awesome! Public Speaking is relatively easy but very useful and a lot of fun. You need to read for Intro to Comm or you will not do well on the exams. She is a big fan of participation. And she wears a ridiculous furry green scarf that pretty much made the class for me.PUBSP102 2009-04-03 08:46:16 +0000 UTC
Great professor, very clear, very fun. Open to talk about/try anything. One of the best teachers I've ever had. Life-changing, still talk about the memories from her classes. <3COMM1101 2009-03-30 16:58:33 +0000 UTC

Decent amount of work, didnt open the book once, and got an a. do what she wants and include everything in your speeches and its an easy a.PUBSPK 2009-01-04 22:11:37 +0000 UTC
This class was awesome. We had a few papers, and one final presentation on a show of our choice at the end of the semester. She's really clear on what she wants for the papers, which are short. If you contribute in discussions you will do well in this class. I watched The Walking Dead for homework one night. This class is the dream.MSCR1300 2015-04-14 18:11:47 +0000 UTC
