She will ask the class a lot of "leading questions" and it is clear that she is only interested in hearing students regurgitate her personal interests and opinions back to her. She does not abide by ADA or disability services guidelines and apparently had personal vendettas against multiple students for no discernible reason. TLDR; bad professorWGST120 2021-01-04 02:37:48 +0000 UTC
Prof. Weber was very encouraging and supportive. She demonstrated our course concepts very well. It helped that she had great experience in the field of leadership and organisational behavior. She was very supportive of us.BUS8020 2020-08-26 17:59:13 +0000 UTC
Shannon is a really smart woman. She is a published author and her intelligence seems effortless. Her ability to describe course materical is nothing less than inspiring. She is a visiting scholar and I suggest you take the opportunity to take her class.WMNSINTRO 2013-09-04 08:59:27 +0000 UTC
Intro to WGSS: not against learning about different cultures or the history of feminism, but those topics were what seemed like a focus of the class at times instead. Her slides are inconsistent- sometimes too cramped with words, sometimes designed for elementary school students, and sometimes neatly organized. She often sped through the slides.WMNS1103 2013-04-13 00:28:31 +0000 UTC
Her slides and lectures were all over the place, and she struggled to facilitate meaningful class discussions. She came across as young and insecure. Finally, her Tinder profile with a very uncomfortable bio showed up to any student on campus who uses the dating app. Talk about professionalism.WGST120 2016-01-15 16:47:32 +0000 UTC
I feel that Shannon Weber should use powerpoints on a more regular basis. The class that she did was one of the better classes. That being said, her powerpoint style could be improved by having larger font size and by not having so many words on one slide. Side note, taking attendance is unnecessary in an undergraduate college class.WMNS1103 2013-01-18 09:07:25 +0000 UTC
