THE BEST PROFESSOR. Went into this class not sure if I'd like it but I LOVED IT. She is so kind, so passionate and makes the class enjoyable for everyone. She is so kind and will answer any question you have. Also love how passionate she is about dogs. She is very passionate about the topic and great at answering questions. All quizzes and tests are remote. Class prepares you well for them and is interesting. Such a great professor who clearly has a passion for psychology. She uses a lot of her past experiences as an animal trainer to explain concepts in class to make it easier to understand. You can tell she is super knowledgable about what she's talking about. Lectures are heavy but interesting, she shows a lot of videos to get tangible examples of what's happening. Tests were online and take home, and overall I did well on them. Just look over your notes and stay engaged. I really like Prof Bright as a person, but I found her class to be a bit boring at times. There were 6 quizzes for the class, excluding the midterm and final. All were MC and if you pay attention in class, there should be no problem. Dr. Bright is a great prof who cares a lot about the subject. The entire grade for this class is based on quizzes and the final. However, as long as you show up and understand the material, it's straightforward (she also drops the lowest quiz grade). Dr. Bright is AMAZING. She cares so much about the topic of ABA and behavior in general. Her lectures are always interesting and she cares if her students understand the topics. She is not very accessible outside of class because she has another job, but always emails back right away and even gives her cell number. Dr. Bright is a great teacher. There is assigned reading that is reasonable in length, and no graded homework. The quizzes are straightforward and if you pay attention and read you'll do fine. Loved Terri; one of my favorite professors so far at NEU. Didn't run out the room right when class ended - waited to help students with questions or concerns. She always called on a student if their hand was up. WONDERFUL faculty member and mentor. Her work with dogs is inspirational. Very passionate about her subject. She is not a bad professor, but sometimes has test questions that are very ambiguous and can have many answers. Sometimes she will take away those questions on tests, but many times they are not and hurt your grade.
