Materials. Easy course in terms of what you need to learn, but the tests are graded incredibly strictly. One small mistake = almost no credit. He will give you help eventually, but encourages you to learn the material and won't just tell you answers right away.CIVE2260 2011-05-16 16:10:45 +0000 UTC
Sheahan is the man! Awesome teaching... you don't have to buy a 100 dollar book because he has a 10 dollar note packet. Good prof who uses overheads to move fast. Challenging test q's. Homework problems are recycled class to class for adv fdn's & adv soil mechanics. Find someone from a prior class to avoid wasted time. Fair grader. He will help you on a homework problem in class, and he definetly knows his material. Unfortunately there are no practice tests or any practice problems, so the tests are very difficult. But, he is fair in hsi work can make some pretty good jokes.MATERIALS 2005-12-29 13:43:54 +0000 UTC

Made a long lecture interesting. He related to us very well, he knows how hard it is to pay attention the whole time in a lecture w/ 100+ kids and he compensates for it. The material was hard and so were the assignments but thats got nothing to do with him.
