Panahi is an amazing teacher. He frontloads the content for a chapter for one class, keeps it to only the most important information, and then spends the next few classes afterwards devoting the entire class time to exam style practice problems. He cold calls but doesn't care if you don't know or aren't finished yet. Super personable and helpful.ME2380 2025-12-09 20:49:36 +0000 UTC
Panahi is the goat. Thermo is a very poorly organized class at the administrative level, but Panahi makes sure all of his students still do well. He's a pretty monotone guy, but lowkey funny once the class warms up to him. Lectures are him writing a practice problem on the board and having everyone solve it. He is super helpful if you get lost.ME2380 2025-12-09 15:04:56 +0000 UTC
Panahi is sneaky funny and is a troll. Course is difficult with weekly quizzes, 3 midterms, and a final, but Panahi's teaching makes it manageable. Classes will mostly consist of working through 1-2 example problems which will make time fly by. His class performs better than other sections taught by other professors. Enjoys cold calling students.ME2380 2025-12-06 05:26:17 +0000 UTC
