Prof Jung is great and definitely the best professor for Material Science! His lectures are engaging and he is very passionate about the course. He explains things well and has a sense of humor. The workload for the class is light and the exams are very similar to the homework. I would definitely recommend his class.ME2340 2024-12-15 03:09:57 +0000 UTC
Pretty solid teacher, he speaks with a Korean accent but is very easy to understand. Nice guy, willing to help you out and very understanding. Prepare well for the Tests because they were departmentalized, not class specific.MIMU340 2008-12-23 18:44:54 +0000 UTC
He is very knowledgeable and fun. The grade is very straightforward if you attend lectures and do homeworks.ME2340 2024-02-24 05:12:45 +0000 UTC
Decent professor who teaches relatively well. Can be a bit hard to understand at times. If you attend class and pay attention, you should have no problem getting a decent grade.ME2340 2023-05-10 18:38:23 +0000 UTC
He's good if you are already smart and know things, as he expects you to have prior information in the back of your head at all times. He's not super helpful outside class.ME2340 2022-11-17 17:27:41 +0000 UTC
Super boring class with non-exam related class materials, very hard to understand his lecture and feel no clear logical line, he seems to hurry to finish his job task without any patience to his students.ME2340 2022-06-21 04:34:29 +0000 UTC
I really liked prof jung, he was super clear with whats on the tests and it was EXACTLY like the HW assignments. Lectures can be boring but I blame the content, he was sorta funny sometimes. Not super organized- sends out textbook reading the night before but I never did it anyway. Lots of memorization but with effort this is an easy A.ME2340 2021-12-07 03:13:50 +0000 UTC
Definitely the worst professor at Northeastern!!!ME2340 2020-11-27 19:32:37 +0000 UTC
No patience to students and hurry to drive student out of officeME2340 2020-08-16 23:32:38 +0000 UTC
Course slides are super dry, feel no enthusiasm from him, he really needs to improve his teaching skill and communication skills, rather than no meaningful life experience and bad jokes during classes. Respecting others can earn others' respect.ME2340 2020-05-02 21:20:06 +0000 UTC
Trying to learn by yourself through online materials, he cannot directly answer your questions, be patient!ME2340 2020-04-07 17:44:51 +0000 UTC
Hes power points are super boring so half of the class is on their phones. He does have a language barrier and wont understand your question. He gives no extra problems to practice except homework thats completely unrelated to Midterms. Also hes very picky to wording and writing style. He turned an easy course into a really hard oneME2340 2019-12-13 05:23:27 +0000 UTC
