First off, this guy is hilarious. His lectures are always filled with jokes and he never takes it serious. With that being said, this guy can't teach. He teaches theory in 1-2 classes and spends the next 3-4 going over examples for that problem. Only good thing about him is that he is very engaging. Besides that, lectures are brief and only covers one example or maybe two each class. Tests are basically impossible and so different from class and the homework. Homework is also super long and difficult and is graded strictly for accuracy. Speeds through problems without actually explaining things, and then ends class early or gives us random days off. Also made the midterm the day we get back from spring break, despite cancelling the last day of class before spring break. He refused to let us take the test before spring break for no real reason. For your own sake, PLEASE do not take this class. He is honestly the worst professor I've had the displeasure of taking. 1. He makes rude and patronizing comments towards students 2. There is 1% actual lecture/instruction and you are expected to learn based on him racing through one problem per class. I have never had such a rude and uncaring professor during my entire undergrad education. He did a horrible job at making the exams and their grading reflective of class material and when any concern was brought to him, responded with hostility. He was just flat-out mean. I would ask questions, and he would say, "That's a bad question" and then move on. The Tas were nice enough, but they were scared of him because he was just mean to them. Yusti knows his stuff but also expects you to understand the material hes talking about instantly. One practice problem per topic is shown in class, then you do the homework that is much harder.
