Ana is a great professor! The work load was reasonable and the assignments were pretty easy. There are assigned readings but I didn't open any of the books ever and managed to get a B+. She's very sweet and means well. Fair grader. I definitely recommend her!ANTH1101 2011-01-15 22:54:29 +0000 UTC
Ana is very nice. Sometimes she can talk too fast/be unclear but she is more than willing to work with you in or outside of class to help you understand. She is also very understanding and lenient with paper deadlines. The amount of reading was excessive, but once we told her she eased up. Show up, try and you will get an A.ANTH2300 2010-12-16 01:03:46 +0000 UTC
I have Araujo for Global Markets and Local Culture...She is a great professor. very sweet. interesting material. always available to talk about the class and your academic interestsANT305 2010-10-29 01:02:01 +0000 UTC
Pretty much a breeze. Do readings very well, or go to class. Basically, doing both isn't really necessary. Especially when its a Tuesday, Friday 8am like I had. SHes nice when you need to speak to her, and can be helpful. OBviously for the best grade go to lectures and read. take it for an a.ANTH101 2010-03-29 14:01:56 +0000 UTC
Wow--what a terrible experience. Signed up for a class on Gender and Sexuality, instead got a semester full of Feminism 101. EVERYTHING covered was somehow related back to the evils of men and women's oppression. Gave rediculous T/F tests that required written explanations. One word off = NO credit. Avoid Prof Araujo at all costs!SOAU302 2009-04-17 17:34:53 +0000 UTC
Lectures and reading material interesting. This class really had me thinking outside the box, and Ana was more than willing to have discussions outside of class. She is very nice and a good professor. Sometimes goes too fast, but it's not difficult to do wellANTH1101 2010-04-28 17:30:42 +0000 UTC
This class was a breeze. I don't know where these other people are getting their review from. I have no complaints.ANTH101 2009-08-04 23:24:44 +0000 UTC
This professor assigns a ridiculous amount of reading per night and expects you to know every detail for the test. She speaks too quickly during lectures and floods you with a lot of information. Could easily get the same point across with less reading and lecture, but chooses to go over the top. Very difficult.SOAU302 2009-03-18 20:55:08 +0000 UTC
This class felt like a total waste of my time. She assigns readings and her lectures are based off of them- totally unoriginal. Attendance is not required so I would suggest EITHER doing the readings OR going to class- both are not necessary. Lectures are uninspiring, and while she seems passionate, she can't pass that on to her students.ANTH1101 2009-12-02 16:40:02 +0000 UTC
