Classes aren't structured well and the ppts are sometimes messy and filled with typos. The professor is quite disorganized. Her time management is pretty bad - poor control over how class time is spent and grading takes forever. I have her for peoples and cultures and she's not a horrible teacher, just that she is very scattered and she does have a tendency to try and shove her views down your throat. Im a Anthro Major. Took Environmental Anthro with her. Paid 80 bucks for the textbook and never used it. Watched movies and documentaries as well as semester long research projects. Agreed she is unorganized and doesn't really care about puncuality. I found she works best with emails. I am not sure who gave Mary King a Ph. D. or why. Each class she displayed ignorance across a broad spectrum of issues. She is misinformed on current events.
