Dr. Brown is incredibly passionate about civil rights and the many problems in Western society and the class challenges thinking on several topics that plague modern civilization. She cancels class relatively often and uses student presentations or discussions to structure classes. Nice professor, but didn't believe in the traditional "grading system". No assignments were graded and only found out my grade the day they were due on the student hub. Discussion based class and could easily make up stuff to pretend you read the readings.WMNS3100 2024-05-02 18:22:21 +0000 UTC
Dr. Brown is by far my favorite professor I've taken a class with at Northeastern. She is incredibly knowledgeable, caring and funny! She fosters an electric and fun class environment where you actually look forward to going to class because you feel like you're friends with everyone there. Plus great insights and readings!
