10/10 would take any class of his. He has great knowledge of the subject and is always available outside of class. I have also never met a professor that is so understanding and willing to help students registered at the DRC. Prof. Strah was my favorite professor this semester. He is super approachable and always quick to answer emails! He also is really open to offering help and working with you if you need help. He is always willing to work with students to make sure they understand the material and are successful in his class. Also, just an all-around nice person. I loved this class and Professor Strah is always so enthusiastic about lectures and class content. He always posts his lectures online so if you miss a class it's not a big deal catching up. Professor Strah was always very enthusiastic for class. You could tell he really cared about the material and that he wanted to be there to lecture. His presentations were interesting and really helped you to learn the information. The exams were difficult but mostly due to their length and not their content. Prof Strah really wants his students to pass with a good grade. In my opinion, lectures are pretty important to attend. The tests are writing heavy but he allows a page of notes with each exam. He cares about his students and designs classes for all different types of learning; lecture, discussion, video, etc... Amazing professor.
