I was nervous going into SC because I heard that it was very tough, but I found Bob and I really enjoyed going to this class. He has lots of real life experience, and friends in the field that come and give guest lectures. He definitely makes an effort to make a somewhat dry subject (if you're not interested in it, that is) engaging. A decent amount of work every week, but it's necessary to stay on top of everything. Bob Murray is a very down to earth, nice guy. Very much enjoyed having him as a professor- he is super intelligent, has worked in the field, is well connected and is passionate about what he teaches. Bob is a great person who cares for all his students. He takes attendance and participation greatly. Learn from all the materials in class and you should end up with a pretty good grade. Methodical approach to how class operates. 1 page executive brief every week, 2 tests, and a case study presentation. He comes straight from industry holding multiple VP roles and organizes his class towards the real world. Incredibly smart and teaches you a lot. Bob is absolutely an awesome guy, both as a person and as a professor. He really is one of the good ones. He is incredibly knowledgeable about supply chain and has decades of experience in the industry, and it proves so worthwhile in class.
