Awful. If you didn't understand something, he would have no way of explaining it differently and instead you make you feel dumb for not understanding it. Prof. Maloney is a "real Math professor" who is not there to teach "Real Math". He explains numerous math methods that are helpful to model and solve any mechanical/physical/chemical/biological phenomena. I had a 93% for all tests + HW, weighted as per criteria he gave in the syllabus, did ok for final, and got a B, on a really easy course on Grad level Math. What's more is that I talked with a bunch of people to realise that it wasn't just me and that the other professor who taught the same course gave As for half of his class.
