I had a great time in Dr. D's class. The lectures were thought-provoking and he cares about his students. Tests are worth a lot but aren't too difficult. Absolutely take the class if transportation even remotely interests you!CIVE5373 2025-12-27 23:21:36 +0000 UTC
Amazing guy, AMAZING professor. Keeps you very engaged in class and makes sure that you understand every concept you'd be expected to know. Have him for CIVE4554 and had for Statics, has been fantastic in both and has clear expectations of his students. Only complaint I have is he is very hard to reach via email.CIVE4554 2024-05-28 19:06:18 +0000 UTC
Dulaski is the greatest professor of all time. Love this guyCIVE2221 2023-11-20 20:25:39 +0000 UTC
Great professor. Prepares you for the real world! More than any other professor. He expects a lot because he gives you a lot to learn.CIVE4675 2015-12-17 11:06:24 +0000 UTC
Talk. If not, he'll call on you. Do practice problems for midterm and final. There is also a paper due for this class. I recommend do the paper from AWD on transportation and use it again for his class. Homework take forever to do but that's just him. Remember, MEMO formats. His class gets harder each time he teaches it. Highway and TransportationCIVE5301 2011-06-05 12:27:52 +0000 UTC
Great guy, even better professor. Dr. Dulaski's lectures were incredibly engaging and useful if you're someone interested in multimodal transportation. Keep in mind he's very test-heavy (like 80% of overall grade), but if you go to class and engage with the content you'll have nothing to worry about.CIVE5373 2025-12-19 18:54:49 +0000 UTC
Highway design was not an easy class, requirements for hw format were pretty strict, final project took time, especially design part in CAD. However, it's been a year since I took this course and I still have all the info left in my brain. Lots of work but it was worth it. Also by the end of the semester the class turns into almost a family.CIVE4554 2012-04-23 17:50:43 +0000 UTC
The GOAT. Cannot make statics any easier.CIVE2221 2022-12-13 21:19:49 +0000 UTC
I was so grateful to be in Dr. D's transportation class. I loved starting class with transportation news, keeping the class up to date with current events. Class content was engaging and if you payed attention in class exams, while worth a lot, were not very difficult. Would recommend to anyone interested in transportation!CIVE5373 2025-12-16 19:35:34 +0000 UTC
Can't recommend enough. Establishes a friendly, first-name relationship with EVERY student. Wants you to do well and will do everything he can to ensure you do well. Lectures were great, homework is helpful, and exams are very fair. Funny guy too.CIVE2221 2022-12-02 20:00:27 +0000 UTC
I've taken five classes with Dr. D during my time at Northeastern. Take his classes. They're usually difficult, but you learn a ton. He deeply cares about his students and has unmatched passion for transportation. He is extremely detail-oriented, and accessible outside of class for help (book a meeting or go in-person!). Hands down my favorite profCIVE5373 2024-04-24 20:24:12 +0000 UTC
Dulaski was such a great statics professor. He was so caring and kind and really wanted his students to be successful. He has been the best professor I have had at Northeastern and I could not recommend him enough. He does in fact call on you during class but it keeps you prepared. He also will not judge if you don't know the answer. Great guy.CIVE2221 2021-12-06 17:47:35 +0000 UTC
