I enjoyed this class. Dr. Keyvani is such a nice, caring, and charismatic person. She is very understanding and is always ready to help when u need it. She provides so many resources if you are struggling, and her lectures are long but helpful. An overall wonderful professor!GE1501 2025-12-09 05:58:00 +0000 UTC
Confused teacher. Does not allow to code independentlyGE1110 2024-12-15 16:02:36 +0000 UTC
This Prof. is crystal clear with explanations and is always willing to offer help. The class itself is pretty easy but she makes you fully understand the material. She is willing to work with you (and the class) as a whole to make sure you understand and do the best.ME2350 2016-06-13 17:40:25 +0000 UTC
Cares about the students and is extremely helpful. Sometimes assignments were not graded very quickly, however you can just ask her anything and she provides great examples. Learned a lot from her and it is easy to talk to outside the classroom. Very understanding.GE1501 2024-12-27 18:02:34 +0000 UTC
The class was a lot of work but worth it. The professor can be confusing with directions sometimes but she is really nice. She challenges you to think through possible solutions. I found the class valuable with all the material you learn and the presenting, leadership, and organizational skills you gain while taking this class.GE1110 2022-04-24 20:32:54 +0000 UTC
Keyvani cares alot about the wellbeing of her students and was an amazing lecturer. Watch out for group projects because they can be brutal, but she is very understanding of any hiccups and difficulties as long as you put in effortGE1501 2024-04-28 15:38:43 +0000 UTC
For an introductory course, this class was extremely difficult. I spent upwards of 10 hours a week working on the projects with our group. We had a semester long project, with homework divided up week by week. The instructions for each week were very vague and difficult to understand, and when asking for clarification, we were not given any.GE1110 2022-04-15 19:04:47 +0000 UTC
An amazing lecturer who was pretty accessible outside of class. There was one semester long project that got to be a lot at some points and was pretty stressful, but she understood that and helped in every way she could.GE1501 2024-04-13 21:15:51 +0000 UTC
Professor is really kind and accommodating, especially when you ask her specific questions in class. She will spend time doing her best to help you. One problem is that her instructions can be vague and confusing, especially since there are usually 2 or more assignments going on at once. You can tell she really loves teaching & engineering.GE1110 2020-11-04 01:09:35 +0000 UTC

Professor Keyvani is very strict with her grading, but I would say that she is pretty fair. If you get all your work done, you are likely to finish with an A. The group projects are nice, but I could do without the final. It was difficult and redundant, and it wasn't related to anything we did in class.GE1110 2019-04-19 18:05:42 +0000 UTC
Took for full cornerstone, so there was a lot of material in little time, but she spaced out due dates and was available for office hours. The assignments will be difficult, and the grading is tough, but if you actually do them yourself you will be very prepared for exams. And the group projects are annoying but graded lightly.GE1501 2023-02-04 15:52:13 +0000 UTC
Keyvani is so sweet and puts a lot of effort into making the class educational and understandable. As long as you follow the assignment rubrics, you'll do fine.GE1110 2017-04-07 14:20:01 +0000 UTC
Professor Keyvani is amazing. She is very helpful in answering questions and working with you if you are struggling. The only textbook requirement was a TopHat course online. There is a lot of work outside of class but it's worth it and I was able to add a lot onto my resume just from one semester.GE1501 2022-12-07 15:55:58 +0000 UTC
Professor Keyvani is an excellent prof who cares about her students. I took stacked cornerstone with her and I have learned more than any other class. Definitely be prepared for a lot of assignments and group projects. The pace is very fast. The rubrics can be vague sometimes, but if you ask for help she is always willing to provide clarification.GE1501 2022-11-30 03:04:41 +0000 UTC
