He is extremely organized. He is kind of old school but a respectful teacher. Know the subject very well and know how to teach programming in an easy way. Well meaning guy, but honestly a pretty lousy teacher. Fairly arrogant, and if you ask any questions beyond what what is in the immediate slides, he never seems to be able to answer it - while being a bit condescending. Honestly, he is one of the worst professors I have had at NEU. He is extremely arrogant and makes it very difficult to approach him for extra help, let alone ask a clarification question in front of the class..which I learned the hard way lead to him belittling you. Really nice guy who is very laid back and wants to help. However always gives a lot of busy work that are extremely time consuming. You will put a lot of time into work that doesn't overall count for much in your grade. Good class though although sometimes boring. I read the comments here before I signed up for his class and was a little nervous, but he is great. His powerpoints are very helpful and are posted for later reference. He always helps, tho sometimes it can feel like he is annoyed by you asking questions. Where to start... This wide man's lectures are less than interesting. His homework assignments are very repetitive. He wants class discussion but whenever a student says something he doesn't agree with he dismisses them, very frustrating.
