Pr. Paparounas is extremely caring and enthusiastic. She's very knowledgeable about statistics. Go to her office hours, she's always willing to help. Overall, the course was very difficult so be prepared to put the work in. Exam 1's average was 69. Exam 2 was slightly better. Exam 3 was online. Dr. P was a great online professor, one of my first courses and couldn't have been better. She really cares about her students and actually tailors her lectures and hints at homework problems you tell her you struggle with. She's one of the best I've had at Northeastern. Enthusiastic, wants you to succeed, fair, and has a great sense of humor. I felt so supported and encouraged by her, she's truly special. The class itself is not that difficult as she easily explains how to understand the concept and how to use SPSS. She is very kind and energetic when she lectures the class. She is kind and genuinely passionate about what she teaches. However, she moves through the material quickly in class and often calls on students, which can be challenging if you don't immediately grasp the topic. Lectures move quickly, but she is available outside of class. All tests and quizzes are online and open note (except the final which is online but in person). She is super nice and cares about her students. An amazing professor, so engaging, understanding, and knowledgeable. Going to class lectures is important to understanding the content. If you are able to pay attention in class and genuinely put in the work, you will succeed. all exams were online (2023 spring), she was extremely generous with my exam and spss is cheese for the final. can sometimes be quick to cover ideas but overall shes really fun and our class felt super comfortable. She is extremely kind but honestly the lectures can be confusing at times because she moves very fast. First two tests are online but you aren't given nearly enough time to complete them and the final was in person.
