I understood that this course would be difficult due to the accelerated summer term, but words can't describe how bad this was. Lectures were uncomfortable, with random cold-calling and a condescending attitude toward students, esp if your answer is wrong. He will cut you off if u ask a question. Like most COE coding classes, it was easy if you already know some coding, and probably horrible if you didn't. Very passionate about his lectures but they can still get a bit dry at times. Disrupts class multiple times each lecture just to try to catch people not paying attention, then claims it's distracting to everyone when he's the only person calling attention to it. This professor does not provide the proper resources for his students. This begins with not providing any homework solutions that properly walks the student through the question. He does NOT provide ANY EXAM MATERIALS. Zero. Prof. Emad is really caring. He puts learning first instead of giving too much homework, which is one of the best things about him. I've never suffered more than I have suffered in this class. He finds confusing students funny and changed how he wanted to interpret a type of question right before the midterm.
