0 material for exams review. Heavy and confusing poll questions popping up in class.EECE2310 2026-02-26 16:33:01 +0000 UTC
Very great professor, Dr. Emad is passionate about his lectures and insures his students receive the help they need if asked. Would take again.EECE2560 2024-10-03 15:35:30 +0000 UTC
Like most COE coding classes, it was easy if you already know some coding, and probably horrible if you didn't. Very passionate about his lectures but they can still get a bit dry at times. Exams were quite easy and the labs are pretty easy as well (and the reports are a joke). Plus all lab stuff can be split with a partner.EECE2160 2023-05-03 15:47:38 +0000 UTC
Nice professor with detailed slides. Even though the attendance is mandatory, he is still a good professor. Homework is resonable and useful.EECE7205 2022-11-29 15:30:23 +0000 UTC
He somehow manages to move too quickly in class to follow and also be at least 1-2 lectures behind all other sections. Constantly having to use my friend's professor's slides just to finish the labs. He's quite passive aggressive and it just feels like a chore to have to be in this class.EECE2310 2026-02-17 00:11:47 +0000 UTC
Professor Emad is highly regarded for his teaching abilities. His lectures are so well-structured and engaging that it's difficult not to grasp the subject matter. He is, without a doubt, among the best in his field.EECE2560 2023-04-29 04:11:02 +0000 UTC
Prof. Emad is really caring. He puts learning first instead of giving too much homework, which is one of the best things about him. If all teachers used his approach, the COE would be a lot better, and students would learn more without just struggling to finish homework. He's simply the best.EECE2160 2023-04-29 04:14:01 +0000 UTC
Easy exams, easy homework. Class participation is quizzes in Poll everywhere that no matter if it is right or wrong.EECE7205 2022-11-28 23:51:01 +0000 UTC
I regret waking up every morning because I will have to suffer this class. He rushes through lectures and is passive-aggressive when students ask questions, yet we are still behind the other classes, which makes labs impossible. We just covered Lab 1 material...we're in the middle of Lab 3. For the exam, max 10 letters PER INCH on the cheatsheet.EECE2310 2026-02-10 00:33:49 +0000 UTC
Good as far as EECE professors goEECE2560 2020-03-31 01:10:28 +0000 UTC
Amazing professor. His in class slides are detailed and easy to learn from. He goes over many examples to ensure students understand the concepts. Midterms and homework are both VERY fair. He is also just a great guy and cares about his students.EECE2160 2022-12-16 18:47:53 +0000 UTC
Tests are beyond fair. Our first exam was so incredibly easy I couldn't believe it. I saw the work in my friends who are taking a different professor for this class and it seemed MUCH harder. He can be condescending and will call you out if you don't pay attention in class, but it's just because he wants you to learn. Would definitely take again.EECE2310 2025-12-06 01:59:39 +0000 UTC
I thought he taught the course well. It's clear he's passionate about the subject, and knows a lot about it. The grading is generous in my experience and I wouldn't hesitate to take one of his classes again in the future.EECE2160 2020-12-11 17:37:08 +0000 UTC
Professor Aboelela is one of the best professors I've had at Northeastern. He is caring and understanding and can explain topics really well. He might throw comments at students who aren't paying attention and be a little sarcastic, but if you are someone who can take jokes, you will absolutely love this side of him. Highly recommend him!EECE2310 2025-11-18 22:13:16 +0000 UTC
I don't understand all the hate for Emad. Had him for embedded, and I thought his lectures were interesting, and that he really broke everything down logically to make it easy to understand for the students. Visited office hours with him a few times, it is evident that he cares a lot about his students and gets excited when we are learning!EECE2160 2020-12-02 19:24:12 +0000 UTC
