Professor Samala is one of the best engineering professors I've had so far. The class itself is difficult and the workload is insane but she explains concepts well and provides all the slides. She's a very caring professor and understands that her students have a life outside of her class. Always provides extensions when needed.EECE2150 2025-12-22 19:47:24 +0000 UTC
she's maybe the best professor I've had. very kind and understanding. doesn't drown you in work and understands students have lives outside of her class.EECE2520 2024-03-28 17:10:09 +0000 UTC
She is extremely kind and wants students to understand the material. If a student asks a question, she will always say "that's a good point, I didn't think of it that way" and give credit for their thinking. She gets sad when people don't show up to class -- do it for her. She won the HKN Professor of the Year award multiple years in a row.EECE3468 2023-05-01 18:32:22 +0000 UTC
Cares a lot about her students. One of the most accessible and nicest professors I've ever had. A true master of the subject with experience in the students' leaning patterns and the most effective teaching methods.EECE2210 2020-02-18 04:27:46 +0000 UTC
EE2210 w/Professor Salama. Super helpful in office hours. Extremely responsive via email. Grading is very fair & extra chances were given to bring up poor scores on certain sections of tests or quizzes. Cares about student performance. If I had more EE classes I would seek her out.EE2210 2018-02-14 01:34:13 +0000 UTC
Salama is so understanding with everything and is so good with pushing deadlines. She truly just wants to see her students do well in the class, her and her TAs were super helpful. Her weekly homework's were a little difficult, her quizzes were not badEECE2150 2025-12-10 21:25:13 +0000 UTC
Idk what other comments are blabbing about but Salama is an incredibly boring lecturer and her slides are 60+ pages with text top to bottom. Yes she is nice, but it doesn't make up for the ridiculous amount of work for this 2000 level class. Half the class never shows up because of how boring it is and she struggles with technology. Too much hw!EECE2520 2024-03-13 04:06:53 +0000 UTC
She is crazy nice and accessible. Her slides are organized and she makes the material seem pretty easy. Her lectures flow well. Honestly I cant think of one thing that she doesn't do well.EECE3468 2021-03-26 15:07:52 +0000 UTC
One of the nicest, most receptive professors I've ever taken a class with. Emailed me personally when my performance was slacking. Really wants students to actually understand the material, and a super generous grader. Show up to lecture and do the homework and there's no reason you can't get an A.EECE2210 2017-12-11 02:31:59 +0000 UTC
Very nice but very quiet. It is easy to zone out in her lectures but they are very helpful and she is very knowledgeable. Her HW is harder than her weekly quizzes, but thats Pearsons fault, not hers. Both EECE 2150 professors are great, but its really the whole team of her and the TA's that make this class possible.EECE2150 2025-12-08 20:40:16 +0000 UTC
Linear systems is a hard class based on the concepts introduced but Professor. Salama makes sure that each student understands the concept well. She is the best professor in the ECE department.EECE2520 2023-06-22 20:05:35 +0000 UTC
Honestly the GOAT, Salama is 100% worth taking.EECE2150 2024-01-14 17:35:56 +0000 UTC
Okay guys. If you can take this gem of a human, take her. If her class was an 8 am Saturday, Sunday, and Friday class, and the alternative was 1pm weekdays, I would take her class. Even if the alternative class was with the second best professor. You won't find a more caring, respectful, kind prof in all engineering. You won't regret it. Professor Salama is the best EECE teacher I've had so far. She's incredibly flexible with deadlines, and actually acts like a human being when you reach out to her. The lectures are a little hard to follow, but the lab reports are graded very easily, and the online homework has a crazy amount of extra credit. Study for the quizzes, you'll be fine.EECE2150 2021-12-12 19:17:12 +0000 UTC
Iman Salama is honestly one of the best professors at Northeastern. She is kind, caring, flexible, but at the same time really good at explaining circuit theory. She is willing to be flexible with deadlines when needed. Put in the work, study for the quizzes, and you'll do just fine. Salama is the GOAT.EECE2150 2021-12-09 01:33:37 +0000 UTC
