Your experience with Dr. M will depend on the course you're taking. 2 days before midterm he says 4/5 of the questions will be RISCV questions despite giving us practice midterm 1s with no RISCV questions...basically wasting our study time. Wowee! I enjoyed him so much! He gave the first exam after the drop date, in which the average was a 40. So strategic! He insulted me throughout the semester for asking him questions. Julius was great. He was funny and a good teacher. At no point in that class did I feel ill prepared for a test or homework. He works closely with the TAs during lab to help us. I'm surprised he has such bad reviews on here, though I think maybe he was kinder to us because he is retiring from this course. The most unprofessional professor I've ever had. Late almost every single day, and it genuinely always seemed like he was viewing the pre-made lecture slides for the first time. Worst prof out there - genuinely a mean person who's out to get students, and he has no shame saying so himself. After my section, he was put through loads of remedial training since dozens of students reported him to the administration. Any advisor at the school will even tell you to steer clear of this guy.
