Professor Clough is a very smart individual. However, do not take her class. Her lectures are long and boring. Her instructions on major projects are very unclear, and she does not answer emails. Professor Clough is incredibly intelligent and it shows through her lectures. The student gets out of this class what they put into it. I ended with a good grade but it was still a bad experience. Her ratings were decent til this semester, not sure what happened but she is clearly struggling. You will do fine in the class except for participation, your grade might drop significantly bc of that. She's very knowledgable but she doesnt have the best methods of teaching in an engaging manner. POLS1155: Professor Clough is awful. It is April 6th, and we do not have a single grade in the book. If you want a professor to rant and spread conspiracy theories and always show up late without notice, then take her class. We almost never talk about class material. This entire class was basically current events. Along with that it was mostly conspiracy theories. She talks to you like children. She'll scare you with talk about the government falling apart then tell you there's nothing you can do. She went as far as to say we could be spies for Homeland Security.
