This Professor is highly qualified to be teaching considering her vast experience at the United Nations. She is also caring and very good at delivering feedback and making sure you succeed. Very easy to access outside of class and even served tea at her office hours. She deserves a 5/5 because she makes sure you understand the difficult content.POLS1155 2025-12-04 18:50:56 +0000 UTC
so so nice!POLS4701 2025-09-19 00:13:45 +0000 UTC
she was the prof for the intro to polisci @ neu class. she was often late and more than once arrived and said "I have nothing for you, really". she seemed very nice but she rubbed me personally the wrong way. may be others' cup of tea, but def not mine.POLS1000 2024-11-20 20:40:09 +0000 UTC
I've taken two classes with Professor Rodine-Hardy and she is the kindest and most understanding professor. I would highly recommend taking a class with herPOL3405 2024-04-21 13:56:27 +0000 UTC
She did not teach us directly. She did not impart any material to us. The entire class was presentations, so I guess we learnt from each other. Still, would have been nice to have a teacher rather than an M.C.POLS1160 2018-01-22 16:40:14 +0000 UTC
Don't take IR with her!!! The class is boring, too much assigned reading, and she and her TAs grade incredibly hard/strictly. She sort of looks down on all of her students in a weird way.IR1155 2012-04-16 10:26:54 +0000 UTC
I took International Political Economy with Professor Hardy in 2007. The class was really tough at times, but looking back I learned a lot so it was worth it. She is really nice and very smart. The readings were important and so were class discussions. If you're interested in economics, it is a very interesting course.POL375 2010-03-04 00:49:17 +0000 UTC
This professor is useless. Te content of the class is very interesting but the teacher makes it painful. No lectures but rather group discussions on the readings, that nobody reads. She has office hours for two hours before class... that's it and does not return e-mails. Take another class if you want to learn something. She does not teach.POLS7537 2009-10-27 11:19:15 +0000 UTC
I would highly recommend taking International Relations with another professor. Not helpful at all. All she teaches is theory and every lecture is the same (and boring). Exams and papers are ridiculous. This could have been a very interesting class had it been taught differently.POLU155 2009-04-02 16:39:02 +0000 UTC
Sometimes you'll hate the class but at the end of the day it's worth it. A lot of reading but good prof, interesting material and class discussions. (International Political Econ)ECN490 2008-06-06 04:55:43 +0000 UTC

She is a very intelligent professor who genuinely knows a lot about the material and cares about the students. Always available outside of class and very responsive to feedback. If you have a problem with the class or a reading or a grade she is receptive and willing to adjust to make her students more comfortable.POLS1155 2018-07-19 05:04:40 +0000 UTC
KRH is the best! Highly recommend taking any class possible with her. She has an insane depth of knowledge, is the most caring and relatable individual, and is guaranteed to provide insights into life at Northeastern, political science, and life in general. One of the highlights of my Northeastern experience and someone I will miss a lot! :)POLS4701 2024-04-23 01:50:08 +0000 UTC
Extremely understanding. She is very flexible provided you communicate clearly (no last minute requests). She does assign a lot of reading for class but this can be skimmed over. Class participation is needed. Allows students to express their learning in multiple forms (poster, podcast etc.) not just long papers, although some are still required.POL3405 2023-12-28 11:22:09 +0000 UTC
Rodine-Hardy is very nice and teaches a lot of information, but I wouldn't recommend the class unless it is a major requirement solely for the amount of reading (120-150/week). I did learn how to skim properly though which will be useful for my college career in the long run. Overall professor very nice and TAs even nicer (Diane anyway).POLS1160 2012-04-26 00:22:22 +0000 UTC
