Knowledgeable about what she doesBUSN1103 2021-04-20 21:54:45 +0000 UTC
She is tough, but she really cares. I took her for Personal Skill Development where she taught a lot. She was a little unavailable, so you have to ask for time in advance. She expects a lot, but she will give a lot in return. She has great application, co-op, resume, etc. tips and is a great resource.BUSN1102 2020-04-06 04:21:20 +0000 UTC
OKKK so she does care about her students and wants to know them better but puts in no effort to actually help them. she is absolutely the most pathetic coop advisor you can get. Not very accessible and also requires you to write unnecessary papers. If you want to MISS OUT on your job applications to your DREAM companies ... GO AHEAD and take her!COOP1103 2017-11-12 21:16:28 +0000 UTC
Objective is to prep students for their first professional job. Esther is awesome she really wants what's best for you and tries to get to know you so she can help you on your search. A lot of Work to be done in this class but it's to help you figure out the path you want to take and not regret it later. You get what you put in, highly recommend.BSN1103 2017-04-26 14:35:01 +0000 UTC
Wow! Esther is tough, but is also kind. Found it interesting that some students gave her a poor evaluation. She is one of the best professors at Northeastern. Esther is fair and honest, and works harder than anyone I know. If you are in her class, you will work hard, but learn a lot too.BUSN1103 2018-01-29 23:20:52 +0000 UTC
Ms. Chewning is a great co-op advisor, but not a great one credit teacher. She tends to require more work than any other co-op class, and takes it extremely seriously. She is definitely one of those one credit profs that likes to teach it like a four credit. Make sure not to let the final paper sneak up on you, the readings are actually mandatory.BUSN1103 2017-12-05 14:13:27 +0000 UTC
Although I think only half of the lectures are useful, it's a required class to go on co-op, and Esther is honestly a great person who cares about her students. There is some work to do but it's really easy, and as long as you show up to class and turn in everything on time you're find. She's a great co-op coordinator who teaches and helps a lot.BUSN1103 2015-12-04 22:15:30 +0000 UTC
