Not a bad guy, but not a good prof. Don't recommend taking this course unless you are SURE that you want to go into this industry, bc otherwise, with the way it's structured, it feels worthless and a waste of resources. You will get cold-called, and you will develop a tolerance for potentially being humiliated in class.ECON3442 2025-11-23 16:48:44 +0000 UTC
If you complete the readings, you're in good shape. It definitely takes time to get used to, but he is very funny. He is also very caring, always responds to emails, and is ready to understand circumstances.ECON3460 2025-11-20 19:19:32 +0000 UTC
Tough class. Got a B- but I've never learned more in one class. Genuinely cared that you learned. 10/10 best class I've ever taken at NEU. You have to go to class and you have to do questions all the time but that pushes you to learn.ECON2315 2025-11-10 13:10:32 +0000 UTC
Enjoys roasting the class, talking over everybody, and daily quizzes, I would take a different teacher if you can!ECON2316 2024-09-10 17:52:21 +0000 UTC
Understand where bad reviews come from, but my favorite prof @ NEU. Only homework is reading a few sections & taking notes before classes. Has a quiz once a class on reading, but always open note and several extra credit. Teaching style is very applied learning (don't take if not your pref): answers questions by walking student through example.ECON1115 2022-10-05 21:23:54 +0000 UTC
Im absolutely appalled by this man. Have to report him to the dean and dropped with a W because I felt unsafe in the class. Weirdly one day started to pick on me made fun of my handwriting, my quiz answers infront of the class, then cussed at me and told me I wasn't trying hard enough. Never posted the readings and was pissed if we didn't do them.ECON1116 2022-04-22 20:22:17 +0000 UTC
Absolutely avoid this man at all costs. I had him my first year and I never had a class as bad as his. He's a d*ck. You ask him a question and he gives you a passive aggressive response. Never taught anything well but gave pop quizzes. I still have PTSD from this guy. DO NOT TAKE HIM!ECON101 2022-02-08 19:54:48 +0000 UTC
AWFUL PROFESSOR! He is not prepared to teach Principles of Management! We did accounting and formulas all course!!! He has no structure of the lesson. He even didn't have a table of contents s of the course! We never knew what are we going to study! When I asked him for a Syllabus he said "take really great notes during the class". the quizzes are nothing related with the textbook! he loves to put some tricky questions on the quizzes. I will never take his class again!!!!!ECON2380 2017-11-01 00:58:48 +0000 UTC
He tests you on blackboard and it is very inconveniently done because there is enough math in Microtheory that you should get partial credit for understanding everything but maybe inputting something wrong, so it's hard to do well on his exams.ECON2305 2017-04-06 13:50:03 +0000 UTC
Super engaging professor who makes sure concepts are understood before moving on. As an econ major without much prior finance knowledge his course was super useful for my co-op search. Pretty straightforward daily quizzes with material straight from the readings, and clearly tells us what to expect on midterms and finalsECON3442 2025-11-18 14:56:51 +0000 UTC
He will make fun of you specially if you are shy, english is not your first language and/or are a women. He gets along better with guys, but everyone hates him. NOT DRC FRIENDLY. AROUND 3 QUIZZES EVERYDAY. He does not know how to teach and his classes are just him reading the book on the board and asking people if they have questions.ECON3460 2025-02-20 18:45:24 +0000 UTC
P/P taught intermacro at BU this semester as well. He puts a closer focus on the business aspect of macroeconomics, which could be troublesome for theoretical economics majors (me). Class is very easy, take good notes and you will be fine. The class average for the mid-term was 91% with a lot of extra credit opportunities. I ended with 100.3%.ECON2315 2022-12-20 19:19:11 +0000 UTC
Probably one of the worst economics professors at Northeastern. Rude and disrespectful. He doesn't teach you anything, he just makes you read the textbook and then quizzes you on the content you self-taught. He does ask if there was anything in the reading that confused you but there is never enough time as he needs to do the quiz. Don't choose himECON2316 2021-09-24 12:54:16 +0000 UTC
He has a weird/mean sense of humor which nobody in my class was particularly fond of. Class consists of reviewing old material, a daily quiz, then going over the quiz material (for the first time after you failed the daily quiz instead of before taking it). He does reach out when you miss class/feel down though so I like him.ECON1115 2021-12-20 02:29:23 +0000 UTC
