Loved his lectures- would suggest everyone goes even though they are optional! Test questions are super fair as well.ECNU115 2025-04-28 19:01:50 +0000 UTC
This guy is the goat. Long live Peter SimonECON1116 2025-04-17 00:04:28 +0000 UTC
SUPER EASY CLASS! He is so funny and understanding. Attendance is not mandatory. He often cancels lectures. You can learn everything from the textbook. All exams and final is online through Top Hat.ECON1114 2025-04-09 02:49:52 +0000 UTC
Best professor I've ever had. His lectures are amazing and he actually EXPLAINS. His jokes are hit or miss but he's a goat. I'm glad I took this course with him. His grading is only on homeworks and exams. Homework is through top hat so yes you'll have to pay.1115 2025-03-14 13:08:03 +0000 UTC
Theres a reason his classes (no matter what it is) are always full. As someone who have taken his classes, I can say that he is an amazing teacher with understanding (lenient) grading. He is VERY accommodating and understanding, most students can agree with that too. Either way if you have a chance to take him you should. Sometimes he speaks fast.ECON 2025-01-22 19:06:32 +0000 UTC
Super nice, super funny, really encourages conversations during class and is willing to hear pretty much any opinions on most Econ related topics. Only had 4 essays and got 100% on each, almost the entire class got As. Smart, funny, interesting, kind, all around 10/10 professor.ECON3560 2025-01-12 21:09:16 +0000 UTC
Prof Simon is the GOAT. This class is super interesting, it's pretty much all discussion and you're graded on attendance and a few papers. The papers are all fairly easy to write, there isn't much to do outside of class time. It's a very interesting elective.ECON1260 2024-12-11 02:22:22 +0000 UTC
Tests are online, attendance is not mandatory. Grade is made up of 50% hw and 50% tests so it is easy! 100% recommend taking this class!!!ECNU116 2023-04-29 20:19:18 +0000 UTC
I'm really glad I took Econometrics with Prof Simon. He keeps students engaged and always emphasizes that we can reach out to him with questions. I learned a lot about the material, but more importantly how to apply my knowledge to the real world.ECON2560 2022-06-13 17:05:09 +0000 UTC

I am a junior here and I really can't stretch enough how good of a professor Peter Simon is. He has sparked thoughts and interests in economics that will last my entire life. If you get the chance to take him, do so, he will make you rethink your view of society and your role in it. He has a tremendous impact on me.MACRO101 2019-10-21 20:31:52 +0000 UTC
Professor Simon is the best! Take all the classes with him that you can!ECON1291 2017-10-03 19:51:18 +0000 UTC
Prof. Simon is simply stated awesome! He makes fun engaging and fun. Definitely recommend him! If you attend and participate in class you will receive a good grade for sure!ECON4692 2016-12-20 09:34:27 +0000 UTC
Great lectures. The entire grade is based on just 5 tests, but the lectures alone are not enough to get a good grade on the tests you also have to read the textbook.ECON1001 2016-01-16 20:34:23 +0000 UTC
