Geez. You like the course, you might even like her- but then her grading is so screwy. She doesn't want you to fail, but even if the entire class fails a quiz she refuses to think her teaching might have something to do with that. Just. Yikes.CRIM3100 2011-04-14 14:50:47 +0000 UTC
She's a tough professor and likes to challenge her students. This is probably the only class I've ever needed to do all of the reading and on time. Attendance isn't mandatory but there are pop quizzes and if you miss a class you miss a lot of material. Take notes on the hypotheticals discussed in class, a lot of quiz questions come from thoseCRIM2100 2009-12-22 15:12:25 +0000 UTC
definitely not an easy class, but farber does a great job teaching the material. definitely do the extra credit and participate, it will really help your grade in the end.CJU110 2007-06-24 17:50:00 +0000 UTC
tough professor but tries to be fairCJ110 2007-04-26 21:48:47 +0000 UTC
Do the reading. Calls on people in class without their hand raised. Gives pop quizzes. The class itself is pretty interesting but she is a tough grader. She does give extra credit to help get your grade up though. Not an easy A at all.CJU110 2007-01-29 20:56:16 +0000 UTC
tough class, do the readings and participate and you'll be fine thoughCJ110 2007-04-24 16:00:04 +0000 UTC
Good teacher. Boring.. but overall she knows what she is talking about. No papers, pop quizes but nothing too hard. The only downside is having to hand in articles every day. Do the extra credit even if you don't think you need it.CJU110 2007-01-11 15:50:23 +0000 UTC
