I enjoyed the class with Prof. Slusser. He is engaging and wants you to be engaged. There are several (long) case studies (needs to be purchased online) to read and case analyses to write for most of them. I'm not sure what he's like now, but I took him for the required MBA class as part for 1.5 credits. Nice guy, but makes you write what seems to be many unnecessary cases that could've really just been read for homework. For a 1.5 credit class, he makes the workload like a 4.5 credit class. Very sweet professor, and made boring content worthwhile and engaging. Unfortunately, the tests were very heavy weighted, and he was very bland when giving directions for the case studies. Professor Slusser cares about the course content and was a joy to see in class. However, his lectures are not engaging and don't hold students accountable to participate or complete homework on their own. Northeastern decided to take away the book out of the course, that was mistake number one. Now his class is based off timed BB quizzes 10Qs in 10min which are taken from these condensed readings that someone wrote up for the department.
