Professor Olsen always has your best interest at heart. Super friendly, accessible outside of the classroom, & always ready to help. She made every meeting fun and truly wants to get to know the real you outside of class. Very caring and sweet professor, so fun to talk to. Make sure you go to class and participate. Do your work, it is group project heavy. No real exams or quizzes. Lots of presenting so make sure to communicate with assigned group members. In all honesty, Janine has been one of my favorite professors at Northeastern, if not my favorite. She is genuinely one of the most caring people that I've encountered at the university. I know a lot of people who say BUSN1101 is so hard and a lot of work but if you take it with her, trust me you'll be just fine. She was an amazing Intro to Business teacher. She is always willing to take the time to help you outside of class as well. She cares about her students and prioritizes building relationships with each of them. She is understanding and caring if you're respectful and honest. Prof. Olson is the #1 BUSN 1101 instructor. She is extremely supportive and caring for her students. The coursework can be frustrating at times, but she does everything possible to help her students while making sure they also learn the material. She is extremely knowledgeable and easy to reach. Professor Janine was great at doing her job and brought in much of her external knowledge to the course. The main project of this course was a group project pitching a product that you design. She is very nice and is always there to support you for whatever you need whether that is about class or outside of class. The course and deliverables are demanding and rigorous for sure, but she works with students every step of the way with their projects and any questions they may have, and encourages students to ask for help.
