I thought his class taught me more than the other course (INTB2206). I enjoyed his lectures and perspectivesINTB2205 2025-11-18 16:50:35 +0000 UTC
Great lecturer and lots of experience in doing business internationally. Each week there is a quiz and case study analysis (quiz is easy, but case study graded a bit harsh considering the lack of guidelines). He makes you do an individual presentation and is SERIOUS about participation. Both are RIDICULOUSLY graded after the course is done.2205 2022-11-18 15:23:38 +0000 UTC
He devotes the first 25% of class to the actual content - that part he does ok. But for the remaining 75% he just stands and starts talking at us in tangents about awkwardly personal things in his life nobody cares about, and then wraps it up with something like 5 trash tips on how to network or a short video about nothing related to the course.INTB2205 2025-04-08 22:43:33 +0000 UTC
The worst class I have ever taken. I was unwell and missed one class, at the end of the semester he reduced my grade by 1 percent. When I asked him about it, he said you missed 1 class. This is the kind of professor he is, doesn't care about the student's well being and I was at a disadvantage because of that. BEWARE!2205 2022-11-11 00:35:18 +0000 UTC
People are just hating because they got a bad grade lol. This class was really enjoyable. Not everyone gets an A and you need to be creative and stand out, but it's also only 2 credits and most people get B+ or A-. No major tests, one group project, and several case studies. Super caring guy and makes lectures really engagingINTB2205 2025-04-01 17:40:07 +0000 UTC
Kevin was obviously passionate about the subject and did his best to make each lesson as engaging as possible. However, he is very strict on grading and does not provide very clear requirements or much feedback unless you specifically ask. He also graded participation very harshly which he only posted after the end of the course.2205 2022-11-03 16:15:47 +0000 UTC
Very hard grader, and unclear grading criteria. He's not interested in giving good grades, and he expects no questions. Controversial opinions and unadherance to syllabusINTB2205 2025-02-26 22:40:34 +0000 UTC
Prof Chuah was knowledgeable and helpful in class. I definitely learned a lot from this course. However, he is a very tough grader. I put a lot of effort into this class and did well on assignments. He gets you with participation and other grades at the end that can hurt your grade and are non-negotiable.2205 2022-11-02 01:28:31 +0000 UTC
This professor is not good at all, and I don't recommend him. Do not miss one single class and homework, or you're in trouble. He has strong ideological opinions, and often assumes they are the only eay to go. Tends to talk about his childhood often, rather than focusing on the class. Don't take him.INTB2205 2025-02-26 22:38:15 +0000 UTC
Prof Chuah is an amazing professor! Although he is a hard grader, the workload in the class is very light. The exam was open note and so were the quizzes. He is very passionate on the topics in class and makes them more of a discussion than a lecture. He truly cares about everyone and I highly recommend taking this course!INTB2205 2025-02-24 23:29:53 +0000 UTC
This professor would not have a clear grading criteria, and his lectures were very opinionated rather than objective. He has a clear stance and is not open to diverse opinions, although he does not show favoritism, yet I wouldn't take him again.INTB2205 2025-01-28 21:35:53 +0000 UTC
I did well in the class, but I believe that it was all because of my own studying. The professor would change subjects and deviate from the course material. Not useful at all if you're looking to learn. Do not take his international business class.INTB2205 2024-09-27 17:06:58 +0000 UTC
Easily the best prof I've had so far. He is so engaging and the lectures are very discussion based. The course is very reading-heavy and there is a case analysis every week, but he makes the lectures very engaging and I never felt overwhelmed. He is a tough grader but if you do all of the work you will be fine to do well in this course.INTB2205 2024-02-21 18:03:54 +0000 UTC
Prof. Chuah is my favorite professor at Northeastern. Although I recognize he can be a tough grader, if you put in the effort you'll do well. Incredibly experienced and a really nice person. I really enjoyed his lectures.INTB2205 2024-01-12 17:40:37 +0000 UTC
Prof. Chuah is a super tough grader and I was walking a tight rope to get this score. Not wonderful experience per se.INTB2205 2024-01-03 18:39:47 +0000 UTC
