Professor Watts is easily the best professor I've ever had at Northeastern!! He is so accessible to students and is super flexible with meeting times. If you don't do well on the midterm, he gives you the chance to earn back points by verbally explaining. Best professor I've ever had! Very clear on grading criteria. He gives all quiz/test questions away in office hours so find some friends to rotate going with, and you will be guaranteed an A. Such a great professor! Class is simple and straightforward: there are weekly discussion posts and short quizzes, a midterm, a final, and a paper. I highly recommend going to his offices hours though. He will basically tell you all the questions on the quizzes and even midterm/final. Professor Watts is a great teacher, I recommend taking his class. Professor Watts gets to know his students and wants them to succeed. He gives weekly quizzes and discussion posts which make up a lot of points in this class. The midterm exam was difficult so prepare to study for his exams. Not too difficult of a course. Weekly quizzes, midterm, final, and one semester paper (5 pages). He is always accessible outside of class and will make you very prepared for the quizzes if you attend class. Prof.Watts wants his students to succeed- he makes an effort to connect with students personally and offers extra credit. The class was pretty easy: weekly quizzes w/ extra credit, midterm, final exam, participation, and a few writing assignments.
